Tony R. Myhre

Tony has over 21 years of Classroom instructor, Field Training Officer, Law Enforcement, Static Security and Force Protection management and instructor experience. 

Tony's professional experience includes Federal Law Enforcement, Disaster Security Operations for Hurricane Katrina / Rita / Wilma response and recovery, Corporate Security, Loss and Robbery Prevention, emergency communications center management and high risk armed private security.  After Tony's recent return from deployment to the Gulf Coast, he has returned to personal security consulting, threat assessments, physical security consulting, disaster response & recovery consulting, web design and helping Alan run Cuff-Tec Training as its co-owner.  Tony is also currently managing a private security venture in Western Washington.:

  • Disaster / Earthquake Response and Recovery (FEMA)
  • Extensive investigations, static security, executive and personal protection experience
  • Civil Disturbance and Riot response and mitigation (certification and experienced, 1992 riots)
  • CCTV system design, deployment and programming (Vicon cameras with Intellex and Lenel or C-Cure interface)
  • Access control (Lenel and C-Cure) system administration
  • Two Way Radio systems design and implementation programs (repeated and simplex)
  • Physical security specialist - shopping centers, residential neighborhoods, apartment complexes (section 8 housing), corporate and government buildings
  • Seasoned and experienced certified instructor in handcuffing, batons, pepper spray, tactics and introductory through advanced Officer training programs (FTO) as a Washington State Certified Private Security Guard Trainer

Tony has trained over a thousand police and security Officers in formalized and field training settings in patrol procedures, crime scene processing, officer safety, tactical deployment, emergency and disaster response, report writing, radio communications, investigation procedures and defensive tactics techniques.

He has received letters of commendation from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), WSI Command staff, the Seattle Police Department, City of Lynnwood Police Department, and the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office; in addition to numerous awards for service throughout his career.

Tony is a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA)
