Firearms Certification for Private security/Private detective
 Up to $120 per person

The materials covered will assist Security Guards or Private Detective in preparing for the State written test and qualifying on the range. The course will cover several items that you will need to know before you decide to carry a Firearm.  Available courses include the mandatory 8 hour new certification, and the yearly four hour re-certification requirements.

 8 hour class will cover

Shooting Decisions

• Verbal Identification and Commands
• Decision making
• Shooting scenarios

Safe Gun Handling

• Basic Rules
• Safe cleaning
• Home safety

Tactics for the use of a Firearm

• Holsters
• Night and Dim shooting
• Center of mass
• Cover and Concealment
• Shooting at Vehicles

4 hours on the range with a minimum passing score of 210.  A written test at the end will be taken with a score of 100% must be achieved- all answers covered in class
