Alan has an extensive and decorated background in Law Enforcement and Security. Alan has worked closely with security and Law Enforcement officials for over a decade. He founded Cuff-Tec to share his knowledge and training and to educate professionals who seek professional advancement and knowledge in these fields.

Alan is certified as a firearms instructor by the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission and holds a certificate as a Glock Armor. Alan is also certified as an instructor in ASP and O.C. (Pepper Spray) training, as well as tactical handcuffing certifications.
Currently, Alan is training and certifying Federal government security officers in firearms, OC and batons. He travels throughout the Puget Sound region to train other Security and Law Enforcement officials, as well as private citizens. He has trained thousands in Firearms for the State, using the most current methods and tactics.

Alan has received several Letters on Commendation from the City of Redmond Police Chief, Director of the Parks department for the City Of Redmond, Environmental consultants, the Port of Seattle and Bellevue Square.
